Fidelity Investment amid 600 jobs expansion

Fidelity Investments, amid 600-job expansion, shuffles Triangle leadership roles as reported by TBJ.

“…Boston banking firm Fidelity Investments, currently in the midst of a 600-job expansion in Durham, is undergoing a leadership shuffle in the state….

…Fidelity has 4,000 employees in the Triangle. Last year, the company picked Durham over Chennai, India, for the 600-job expansion. The state approved an incentive package worth up to $15 million in exchange for those jobs. Fidelity has not been specific about the status of the expansion, but when it applied for funding with the state last year, it had about 3,600 jobs in the Triangle. The jobs are expected to be mostly in software development and engineering with an average annual salary of $100,000.
