Triangle has now added 16,000 jobs since January – Triangle Business Journal

“The Triangle unemployment rate dipped again as the area added 4,400 jobs from March to April.

It was the third consecutive month in which the Triangle jobs report significantly outperformed both the nation and state as the unemployment rate in the Triangle headed toward levels not seen since before the recession….

…Since January, the Triangle has added 16,000, a nearly 2 percent increase. The jobs added just in February, March and April account for two-thirds of the net jobs added in the past 12 months.” excerpts from the TBJ article.
